PFAS Removal Rebate Program for Private Wells
NOTICE: New Hampshire DES’ PFAS Removal Rebate Program for Private Wells is a one-time rebate is available for single or multi-use residential properties with a private well that have an exceedance of one or more of the four NHDES Ambient Groundwater Quality Standards (AGQS) for per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and have not been offered an alternate water source (bottled water, treatment, or service connection) from a third party. Eligible applicants may be provided a rebate of up to $5,000 for the installation of PFAS treatment (point-of-use or point-of-entry) or up to $10,000 for a service connection to a public water system. Notice of Public Hearing | Tax Cap Amendment | February 22, 2023
The Litchfield Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 6 p.m. at the Town Office Meeting Room, located at 2 Liberty Way, Litchfield, NH, to discuss the provisions of RSA 32:5-b, and an amendment to the tax cap whereby the budget committee shall not submit a recommended budget that increases the amount to be raised by local taxes, based on the prior fiscal year’s actual amount of local taxes raised, by no more than 5% rather than the existing $175,000. Residents wishing to speak on this matter are invited to attend.
