Seeking Volunteers to serve on the CIP Committee

CITIZEN VOLUNTEER NEEDED
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLANNING COMMITTEE MEMBER

The Litchfield Board of Selectmen is seeking a volunteer citizen to serve as a member of the Capital Improvement Planning Committee (CIP). The CIP Committee reviews proposed capital expenditures for purchasing, maintaining, improving and constructing town and school buildings, facilities, infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, and other similar items over a six-year period that generally have a useful life of at least three (3) years and cost $10,000 or more. With assistance from staff and department heads, the CIP Committee will prepare an advisory document for the Board of Selectmen to review and approve.

Applications should be submitted Friday, December 13, 2019, by email to ​Tbrown@litchfieldnh.gov​ or delivered to the Selectmen’s Office at 2 Liberty Way.
