FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TO THE RESIDENTS OF LITCHFIELD, NH
TOWN HALL OPEN FOR BUSINESS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2020
Litchfield Board of Selectmen – September 13, 2020

Effective Monday, September 14, 2020, the Litchfield Town Offices and will be open for walk-in business Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Town Clerk/Tax Collectors Office will offer evening hours by appointment only from 4 to 6 PM on Mondays and Thursdays.  Residents are reminded that face masks are mandatory while visiting the Town Offices and everyone must maintain six (6) feet separation.  Signs have been posted within the Town Offices for protection of visitors and employees.

Seeking for a Citizen Volunteer to Serve as a Budget Committee Member

CITIZEN VOLUNTEER NEEDED
BUDGET COMMITTEE MEMBER

The Litchfield Budget Committee is seeking a volunteer to serve as an appointed member until the March 2021 Town Election at which time the successor shall be elected to fill the unexpired or new term. The Budget Committee meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm. During October, November and December meetings are conducted almost every Thursday evening at 6pm. The Budget Committee reviews and prepares annual Town and School budgets for voter consideration, conducts budget hearings, and monitors expenditures and revenues throughout the year.  

To be considered, applications should be submitted no later than Friday, September 18, 2020 at 5pm by email to Budget Committee Chairman Andrew Cutter at acutter@litchfieldnh.gov or delivered to the Town Office, Attn: Budget Committee, 2 Liberty Way, Litchfield, NH 03052. Please mail or use the drop box outside the Town Office building.
