LPD Participates in BEARDS for BUCKS

Attention Litchfield residents, please calm yourselves. You didn’t see Ryan Reynolds in a Litchfield PD uniform, that’s just MPO George Ivas! Your men and women in blue haven’t been replaced by ruggedly handsome, bearded lumberjacks! No, the members of the Litchfield Police Department are donning various styles of facial hair to raise money in support of the Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough County for the month of October. It is our goal to do our part and raise as much money as possible for this amazing organization.

The Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough County assists law enforcement by providing forensic interview services for child abuse and sex abuse investigations. They also act as a conduit for families and victims of abuse to mental health resources, specialized medical services as well as various other community resources. This organization helps countless children and families every year in the State of New Hampshire and they rely on donations to supplement their budget to allow them to continue their benevolent work.

If you wish to make a donation, please check out the link below for details on how you can help.
