Eversource has once again hired Mesa Associates, Inc. to conduct inspections of its transmission lines using drones due to the quality of the information gathered using this method. Mesa Associates crews are currently performing these inspections in about eight communities in Southern NH. Attached for your information is a one page document which describes the scope of work and a letter of introduction that Mesa crews will be carrying while conducting these inspections.
At this time, Eversource is not mailing notices to property owners who abut our transmission corridors since the inspections are being performed entirely within the right-of-way (ROW). They are also low profile; crews use regular pick-up trucks and spend about five minutes at each transmission structure.
