Application Notice

The Town of Litchfield is seeking plow truck drivers and contractors to perform on call winter maintenance services for town roads, streets, sidewalks and parking lots for the 2018/2019 season. Requirements and scope of services are available at the Litchfield Town Office and Town website at www.litchfieldnh.gov. Applications should be delivered to Town Hall, 2 Liberty Way, Litchfield, NH 03052 in a sealed envelope marked “Winter Maintenance Services”. All interested individuals and contractors are encouraged to apply immediately.

Department of Public Works Feasibility Study

At the request of the Board of Selectmen, Municipal Resource, Inc (MRI) just completed their evaluation of the Public Works operations, services and programs to assist in developing a plan to consider the merging of the highway department, facility and grounds management and other public works type programs into a Department of Public Works.

The final report was delivered and reviewed during the 10/22 meeting of the Board of Selectmen. No actions were taken and their will be future discussions around the options and structure of those departments.

PSA - Mosquito Barrier Spraying Scheduled

On Thursday, September 6th the Mosquito Control District has schedule the mosquito barrier application to happen in the morning for Litchfield Recreation Fields and the evening for the School District grounds.
